Jennifer Aniston On Dealing With Tabloid Drama: 'Everyone Knows It's All B.S.

Jennifer Aniston has found a new way to deal with unwanted tabloid attention – just ignore it.
"Just don't pay attention," Jennifer told Lee Cowan, in a new interview airing on "CBS Sunday Morning," airing on January 4, 2015.
"There was a period where I was hell-bent on saying, ‘That’s not true, that’s not right, that’s not fair.’ And now I just think you have to let it roll off your back, and you realize, I think everyone knows it's all B.S. and like soap opera on paper," she added.
As far as the constant headlines surrounding Jennifer and fiancé Justin Theroux, the "Cake" actress said the happy couple takes it all in stride.
“The main thing is to try to just keep refocusing back on what you know is true and what makes you guys happy and, you know,” Jennifer continued. “We know what our truth is… That’s all just static.”
But her personal life isn't the only thing making headlines these days – Jennifer is also receiving critical accolades (including a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nomination) for her gritty "Cake" role – and that's something the actress is trying to soak up.
“We were a little teeny, weensy movie made for four dollars and we poured our hearts into it and everyone worked so hard, so that this is happening on top of that, it’s just like a huge, giant, juicy cherry on top,” she told Cowan.

Taylor Swift forced to hire extra security after death threats: "I don't ever want to be scared"
Pop star Taylor Swift has been forced to employ security guards after a number of safety threats.
The Shake It Off hitmaker reveals she has had no choice but to sacrifice a little of her privacy and hire bodyguards around the clock to make sure she doesn't fall victim to crazy devotees after experiencing a number of close calls over the years.
She tells America's Esquire magazine, "I fought the idea of having security for a very long time, because I really value normalcy. I really do.
"I like to be able to take a drive by myself. Haven't done that in six years. They have to be in a car behind me. Because just the sheer number of men we have in a file who have showed up at my house, showed up at my mom's house, threatened to either kill me, kidnap me, or marry me."
However, Swift admits she prefers not to dwell on the negatives of fame.
She adds: "This is the strange and sad part of my life that I try not to think about. I try to be lighthearted about it, because I don't ever want to be scared. I don't want to be walking down the street scared. And when I have security, I don't have to be scared.

Billy Bob Thornton has opened up about his "whirlwind" marriage to Angelina Jolie, revealing she wanted them to wear each other's blood round their necks as a romantic gesture.
The actor and his stunning ex wife were well known for wearing a vial of each other's blood, and Billy has finally revealed it was Ang's idea all along - and she even bought razor blades so they could cut themselves for the cause.
Ouch.
He told the Hollywood Reporter: "Angie came home one day with…you know those lockets you buy that are clear and you put a picture of your granny in it or something like that and wear it around your neck? That’s what it was. She bought two of those.
"We were apart a lot because she's off making Tomb Raider and I'm making Monster’s Ball. We were on opposite ends, we see each other for two weeks and whatever.
"She thought it would be interesting and romantic if we took a little razorblade and sliced our fingers, smeared a little blood on these lockets and you wear it around your neck just like you wear your son or daughter’s baby hair in one. Same thing."
The pair wed in 2000 after just months of dating, but split two years later, finally finalising their divorce in 2003.
Billy added: "It was, I mean it was a crazy time.
"I mean from ’95 or so when we were making Sling Blade on through the time Angelina and I split up which was 2003 I suppose, that whole time was quite a whirlwind and that was, you know, an amazing time. And I've never been fond of it."
The out-there pair were also rumours to have a dungeon in their home - but Billy told the site it was more of a basement with a recording studio in - which is nowhere near as exciting Billy Bob
